My son out grew his socks so I went to Target to see what I could find. To my surprise, they had really cute socks that were only $1.49 made by Circo.

I bought the Circo Socks with Grippers in several colors. My favorite being the camouflage color. My husband is a United States Marine, so I thought he would get a kick out of the little camo colored socks.

I like these socks for several reasons; one being that they are inexpensive. Most baby products are way over-priced, so to find great socks for $1.49, I was a happy mommy. Another reason why I like them is because there is rubber gripping on the bottom of the socks to prevent slipping. My son is pulling himself up on his own and with these socks on, he won't slide around like with normal socks. I also like that they can be rolled down and cuffed or pulled up for more warmth.

I love these socks and will continue to buy them for my son. I would probably go one size up though. My son is 9 months old and he fits...

My husband is in the Coast Guard and we were recently transferred to Kodiak, AK If anyone is NOT familiar with Kodiak, here is the jist of it. It is an island. NO SHOPPING at all. Except for a very small WalMart. There is only one major food store and some Mom and Pop shops. Most people do ALL their shopping on line. Since there is not much to do here in the wintertime, I thought I would make my niece's some no-sew blankets for Christmas. WalMart did not have much to choose from and a friend mentioned JoAnn's. I had only shopped at JoAnn's back home a handful of times because Michael's was right around the corner. I never had a problem with their retail store. My friend said that the prices were reasonable and shipping was decent as well. Well, I did find some great buys on fleece and the shipping was o.k. A few days later I was surprised to see that I received a shipping confirmation e-mail. THAT WAS QUICK!! HOWEVER, 2 of the fabrics I ordered......

We bought the 50" version of this television after having our RCA big screen go caput. In one day I had dropped $2000 in crappy electronics in the back of a trash truck. (NOT A HAPPY FEELING) We researched for over a month before purchasing this TV. We have found that it is everything that we wanted and more. The picture is fabulously clear, it is lightweight and was very easy to move and reconnect when we moved. Having the dual HDMI ports made it very simple to connect to the sattelite system as well as the XBOX 360. The only thing that I don't really like about it is that super shiny piano black on the front it is super tough to keep clean when you have three little guys running around. ...

Volume Exact is my favorite mascara to use when I want waterproof mascara that gives dramatic effect without clumps. Covergirl's plastic brush are years ahead of their department store competition. The science used in the brushes make mascara application a breeze and let you get to every corner and root around your eye. The price is about a quarter of the price of the brittle brush mascara I see at department stores, and unlike those department stores, covergirl mascara goes on sale and has coupons. I have seen no other mascara that is better and cheaper than something found in a beauty store....

When my husband and I first got married we were cheap and bought a GE washer and dryer. Within about two years of service the washer went out. We decided that this time we were going to splurge a little to get a better product so we went to Sear's and bought a fancy front loading Kenmore HE machine. I am kind of sorry that we spent that kind of money for something that is such a pain in the butt. At first we had it on the pedastal, but it shook so badly we had to take it off because it was shaking the whole house. Also I have had trouble with my laundry coming out with funny spots on it and occasionally items will get caught between the wash drum and the rubber seal and it just shreds my clothing. I have had so many pairs of pants ruined as well as my children's things that I will never have another of these front loaders. I was told that they are the best if you do large loads of laundry or if you do a lot of loads. I have found however that it was a waste of money to...

Wizard's First Rule is an amazing begining to the series with belivable plot twists and turns, action, adventure, romance, not too much, and deep witty characters. Each of the main three characters, Zedd, Kahlan, and Richard, are good people, but also have flaws. None of the characters are very forthcoming with information, but all have trust in each other and protect one another to the death. Zedd is very humorous and witty, Richard is a little nieve, but only uses his power for good, and Kahlan deals with harsh coldness every day, but is still able to be warm and loving. Th book is dark and intense, but often humorous with lighthearted moments between the three. The book is very long in pages, but it doesn't bore or go too long....

I loved this movie. Such dry humor. I laughed so hard I started crying. Ralph Fiennes was good as always.

Bruges, the most well-preserved medieval city in the whole of Belgium, is a welcoming destination for travellers from all over the world. But for hit men Ray and Ken, it could be their final destination; a difficult job has resulted in the pair being ordered right before Christmas by their London boss Harry to go and cool their heels in the storybook Flemish city for a couple of weeks. Very much out of place amidst the gothic architecture, canals, and cobbled streets, the two hit men fill their days living the lives of tourists. Ray, still haunted by the bloodshed in London, hates the place, while Ken, even as he keeps a fatherly eye on Ray's often profanely funny exploits, finds his mind and soul being expanded by the beauty and serenity of the city. But the longer they stay waiting for Harry's call, the more surreal their experience becomes, as they find themselves in weird encounters......

My wife purchased these pencils for our daughters. That will never happen again! Yes, the review stating how they were inexpensive was true, but a better word to describe them is cheap. If you attempt to write with these pencils, they break. If you attempt to sharpen these pencils, they break. After the first time they break when writing, you can end up with a stub eraser trying to sharpen it. I've never seen such a poorly constructed product, and I've seen some badly produced items. I hope people will read this before finding out for themselves that they've wasted their money. The positive review makes me think the person works for the company, I don't see any other way someone would write a positive review of this product....

One strand: Bourdage Pearls is a jewlery boutique specializing in the design and sales of pieces made from Chinese freshwater pearls. Bourdage Pearls is owned by Sherri Bourdage, who opened the boutique in the 1990s. All of the jewlery is designed by Sherri, her husband or a member of her small staff.

Two strands: I stumbled upon Bourdage Pearls when I first moved from the suburbs to the city in August 2008. I spent the afternoon shopping along Southport and venturing in to many of the great boutiques. I love pearls, so I was very excited when I saw the display in the windows of Bourdage Pearls.

Sherri was incredibly welcoming. She was personable and patient, and she was passionate about her business and pearls. Sherri easily answered all of my questions about the jewlery I was interested in purchasing, and she even explained the difference between Chinese and Japenese pearls. (Most important fact - Chinese pearls are less expensive but look better, too!)

For seven years my Bank of America Worldpoints card has been my primary credit card. I have paid it off each month and used it aggressively to achieve over 90,000 points. The site states today and has always stated that 45,000 points = round trip to Hawaii. Today I found out that was a lie. That information was only confirmed after four calls to customer service and an amazing amount of on hold time followed by run around answers. My 90000 will not even get one ticket to Hawaii.

I am closing my account and will use every legal means at my disposal to argue my case.

Ok, I'm all about delaying the demise of my characters in a horror movie but this was a little ridiculous. The idea of the movie was chilling. The director just didn't convince me once I started watching it though. Some of the scenes were prolonged way too long. And when most of the world faced with that situation would have figured out something a little better than screaming, (Just for self-preservation and all.) They were crouched behind a couch or in a closet somewhere.

Towards the end they did fight a bit but at that point I was ready for them to die and the credits to start rolling.

This movie had so much potential it's not even funny. I was disappointed in more ways than one.

WARNING - Stay away from any Keys Fitness product or you might be left holding the bag. I purchased this CG2 Elliptical from them in April of 2008 for $1800. Last week the machine began making a loud knocking sound and I looked and a broken bolt was laying on the floor next to the machine. I have tried, unsuccesfully, to contact Keys Fitness now for over a week. They have a message on their machine saying they are "moving offices" and won't be taking calls until after 11/24/08. It's now 12/3/2008 and they have the same message on their machine.

They have not responded to emails sent to their service email address and to messages sent via their website. There are no local service companies that will perform warranty work on these machines, believe me, I've tried. So, I had to pay a company out of my own pocket to come out today. The bolts need to be replaced and the entire mechanism that moves the pedals as well. The parts department is not taking phone calls either. ...

Scattergories is a really fun game to play, and it is most fun with lots of people. It would make a great gift for a family because it's something they could all do together. Up to six people can play at a time, however, they would have to be old enough to read and spell on their own.

When you purchase Scattergories, you'll receive 6 folders, 48 category cards, 1 answer pad, 6 pencils, 10-sided die, 6 plastic clip strips, timer, die-rolling board, and instructions. How the game works is very simple. You simply roll the dice (which has letters instead of numbers) and whatever letter the dice rolls on, is the letter all your answers will have to begin with. Everyone uses the same category card when answering questions.

For instance, if the category was ANIMALS, once the timer is turned everyone has to answer the questions on the ANIMAL card that begin with the letter that was rolled.

Each category card has twelve questions. For instance, the ANIMAL category would have questions...

I bought a seally posteurpedic mattress and i was not satisfied with the comfort of it. I called to have it replaced but it was over the limited time. So, because of the mattress being very uncomfortable I continued to try to contact someone that would listen to me. I decided to write a letter and after a few weeks I received a call and they sent someone to check the mattress out . Lord and behold, the first thing the serviceman said was, there is a default in your mattress and he pointed out the problem. They told me to go and pick another mattress out at the store .I did and to make a long story short, I am enjoyoing my new mattress and the moral of this story is KEEP TRYING TO CONTACT SOMEONE WHEN YOUR NOT SATISFIED SOMEONE WILL LISTEN. CALL THEM OR WRITE.

I have the PE-150 which only does embroidery, but I have had it for 8 years now and I love it! I haven't had any problems with it. Brother seems to make the best products for sewing and embroidery. The embroidery cards are vast and enjoyable. I have made doll faces, embroidered stockings, embroidered towels, and embroidered shirts. I truly enjoy the embroidery machine. The Brother Sewing Machine - Embroidery Sewing Machine - HE-120 is the next purchase I plan to make in sewing and embroidery machines making it easier to combine my love of machines. It will make it easier to not take up as much space....

"Pride and Prescience" by Carrie Bebris is an interesting "continuation" of Austen. It's the first one in Bebris' series which reads...a little more like fanfiction than a book at times. It has some very good parts and some parts that sound absolutely nothing Austen in any way shape or form. Notably the introduction of fantastical and magical elements - which then strangely seem to disappear from later books. She doesn't always wrap everything up as neatly as one might like either.

Certainly not a book for Austen Purists.

BUT. Having said all that, I love the way she brings in the different characters and ties everything together and some her of new inventions are fascinating and delightfully lurid. Mr and Mrs Darcy occasionally fall into the romance-novel trap of not-listening to each other and hiding things, but over all she portrays their relationship in a manner that I found delightful and possibly the most true-to-Jane part of her work.

"Mr Darcy Takes A Wife" was my first foray into Austen-continuation books. I started it one afternoon and didn't sleep all night until I finished it! It's everything that Pride and Prejudice isn't - fast, thrilling, full of adventure, sexy...and yet maintains some of the charm and quick wit that makes P+P so wonderful.

If you're a fan of the characters, by all means read it. But if you're a fan of the slow-pacing and laid-back environment of P+P this might not be your cup of tea.

I thought it was a fun afternoon though.

(Also recommend Carrie Bebris' Austen-continuations.)
