I've been with State Farm Ins. for over 10yrs and can't find one single incident that went wrong. From the time I got my DL and first car to owning my own home and covering the insurance State Farm helped me out. I love that it's my neighborhood guy same hasn't changed. I can call up the office and never have to wait for anything and they always tell me step by step what needs to be done. I'm sure you can find cheaper insurance for maybe $40 a month but remember you get what you pay for. I love these people and plan on being with them for another 10 plus years!
...

We had Tennessee Farm Bureau for years and had no problems until we had a claim on our house. We suffered some hail damage and EVERY single house around us and behind us got new roofs and gutters because of the hail damage. TFB came out and said and I kid you not that it wasn't hail damage on our house it was FOOT TRAFFIC. I'm not making this up people! It's a steep roof and unless my neighbors are having block partys on my house without my knowledge nobody is hanging out on my roof. My agent was no help but I contested this matter all the way to the head of the claims department. Everyone was jerks and treated me like I was stupid for not buying the foot traffic story. They sent out an "independant" engineer from another firm to colaborate their story which strangely contradicted the Nation weather service, photos of the actual hail strom at our house while it was happening and for freaking petes sake I was at home watching it while it happened! I mean the B.S. they gave......

TonyDre says "Not 15 minutes - 15 calls could save you 15% - or less" about Geico

Everybody has heard the slogan: "15 minutes could save you 15% or more". Geico is arguably the most advertised auto insurance company in the world. Not that it impresses me much - I am a guy who likes to shop around for auto insurance every time my policy is up. But those commercials do make me call Geico every time.

Surprise, surprise - Geico has never been the cheapest choice for me. That is, until the last time I shopped for auto insurance. The signs had been on the wall - I had already noticed that Geico's prices had been steadily closing on the most inexpensive quotes I had been getting in the last year and a half. And this time around - about two months ago, - Geico did come up with the cheapest quote for me.

That alone still wouldn't impress me much. Auto insurance companies come and go in my life. I have dealt with pretty much every big player in the industry and, contrary to some advertising out there, I don't see any difference in customer service among them. Programs like offense...
...

NormalPeople says "Allied Insurance... NO THANKS!!!" about Allied Insurance

My wife and I have been paying Allied for over 15 years. We have three vehicles covered and during a snowy and ice drive home another driver caused an accident; I was not the "at-fault" driver. This happened on December 23rd and when I called to report what happened, I was told all is fine, gave all the information about the accident and on December 24th, my adjuster said our claim was denied and that our coverage was canceled as of December 21st. They hadn't posted our payment, so I was stuck. Thanks for nothing.

So if you are just looking for cheap insurance, maybe Allied is right for you. If you want someone to actually help you when you need it most... Keep Looking....

I was at a point in my life where I thought I was losing everything I had worked years for - and had no clue what to do about it. The anxiety was producing physical problems on top of the emotional upheaval. It was suggested that I go to State Farm and talk to them since they had their own bank and the advice was free. I had my car and home insurance with them and liked the people there so I made an appointment and went in to see if they could help me. These people treated me with respect and compassion - they were able to not only show me that things were not as bad as I thought but helped me understand the process. They made recommendations but were not pushy - they gave me the tools to make intelligent decisions and have kept in touch since that day. I feel completely at ease to call and ask "dumb" questions and express my concerns over issues without the feeling that I am imposing on their time. I have the utmost respect for this agency....

A lovely old farm house outside of a small town, its cold and dark outside. The homeowner is out with family, seven cats are inside, along with four dogs.

The homeowner is in her early twenties, and she has spent years learning home-improvement. She has replaced most of the plumbing in the house, and was taking electrician courses so that she could replace the older wiring and lights in the house. She spent whole summers refinishing woodwork, and clearing out the old basement. She loved this house; it had been in her family for many years.

The homeowner pulls into her drive way and notices an orange light coming from the window on the side of the house. She is confused because she never uses that room- it has an old oven and washer/dryer... it's a utility room. She gets closer to open the front door and whoosh! air is sucked in and it's clear that it's a fire. She calls 911 the moment she realizes it a fire, then she rushes to get her cats out, the house is filled with smoke and is nearly...
...

USAA offers many services. I have been a customer for about 10 years and I am really pleased with the product that I buy as well as the customer service, which is fantastic. Not everyone qualifies because I believe you have to be either in the military or be related to someone in the military or a veteran. But the care that they provide for my insurance needs is great. Then last year I got one of their credit cards as well. So far both aspects of the business have been very customer-service oriented....

I have used them for about a year and a half now and I am very pleased with their services.

I love Geico, I think they are a great company, I love everything from their prices, to tv ads, to their newsletter. They do great things for the community and provide a great service to governemnt employees. the on-line services are excellent and they are open 24 to speak with a live person. I refer them to everyone I know!

I even like the fact that Geico can link with my AMEX card and my payments can be automically debited, saving money and the enviornment, no stamps no checks to write, really comes in handy.

And the commericials are really cute, the children in my family love them.

Compared to the other insurance company that I had before I think geico give me a better bang for my buck

...

Just wanted to vent my frustrations out with Progressive auto insurance. Here's my story...
Guy backs into my car, his trailor hitch hits my car and leaves a well sized dent in my bumber. He leaves the area, after i told him i need his insurance and driver's license so i called the police. The police gave me a case# which i presented to my insurance company, Progressive, and it takes them a month to reach a final decision. They decide to repair it, instead of replacing my bumper, telling me it will be in "like new" condition. how is that right? a guy hits my car, we both have insurance, yet my insurance company said that a new bumper is out of the question? i received phone calls from a gentlemen name Justin who treated my as if i was the guy that hit my car. i escalated and said that i would like to speak with his supervisor. i speak with a guy name Patrick and he blows me off as well. i'm a manager in a customer facing industry, and i know how important customer service is. ......

I had State Farm Insurance off and on since I was 15 years old. I didn't check pricing when I started. My parents had State Farm, so it was good enough for me too. Well, they showed their true color a few years ago by cancelling my insurance. While sitting at a stop light, someone hit my car. She had State Farm Insurance also. They claimed it was a no fault accident so she didn't have to pay. She had to have someone use a crowbar to get her door open. My car was caved in 2/3 of the way down. My window couldn't go all the way down due to the damage. She was speeding, in the rain and talking on the cell phone. Police report stated all this. But State Farm said no fault. I took it to court and easily won my case. State Farm had to pay me several thousands of dollars. A couple of days later, I received a letter in the mail that my insurance had been cancelled. Reason - husband had no driver's license. AND! He didn't drive. Instead of having an endorsement,......

State Farm auto insurance is perfect for young couples or anyone who wants to save money. The best point about State Farm is they are there whenever you need them, but they don't call every week and try to talk you into buying something else. They offer great coverage and the Agents are very friendly and are not about making the most money they can, even if that means cheating you out of good coverage. Being young and newly married, I believe insurance companies try to take advantage of us because we are young and not as experienced. Thankfully our State Farm Agent has gone out of her way to teach us about our insurance needs and what kinds of savings we need for the future....

I cannot express how much I love USAA. Right now I have checking, credit, auto loan, auto insurance and home owners insurance with them and have no interest in changing. The only thing that could change would be auto insurance if we moved to a different state because one state that we lived in Progressive was several hundred dollars a year cheaper for the same coverage. However where we are now, USAA is cheaper. I wrote a separate review for the credit card so I'm not going to go into that too much... low interest rate, no fees, great customer service, easy online banking, and great rewards program. My favorite service from USAA though is the checking account. I LOVE it! If you take out money at ATM's, not only do they not charge you a fee, but they actually reimburse the fees that the ATM's bank charged. It is put directly back into your account once a month. There is a limit, it's like up to 10 times and up to $15 or something like that but seriously that's a lot of......

My husband and I had Farmers Insurance on our vehicles and our home. We originally signed up with them because their rates were lower than State Farms where we had our insurance for many years. Also, my dad had Farmers and he recommended them to us. The rates were reasonable, however the agent that we had was very vague when asked any questions and I became hesitant to even want to call him. My dad had the same agent and his insurance went up several hundred dollars when his renewal notice came. He was never even notified that the insurance was going up that much and he had no claims or anything with them. Well, I found Hartford through AARP and our insurance with better coverage is five hundred dollars a year less and my dad also switched his and is saving about nine hundred a year less than he was paying at Farmers. I would recommend anyone thinking of getting Farmers that they check around more and you will find better rates with more coverage....
