I wanted this phone because I'm a huge texter. i have an ipod touch so I wasn't really looking into the sidekick plans (email, internet, etc.) so I felt a little gipped when I got the phone and found out that I don't receive text message alerts because I don't have the plan! What company does that?! And also, you don't get the basic apps that most phones come with like..the calculator. I actually use my phone's calculator! And you have to pay to have one with this phone! I also can not download ring tones because...without the plan...you can't download anything. I've had less expensive phones that were better. the only thing going for this phone is the keyboard and the fact that you can trade out the case. That's it!
...

Jo says "Garmin c320 Pilots us onto the wrong Streets" about Garmin - Street Pilot c320

We finally got a GPS system for our SUV and for our current Florida trip. I did the research and chose the Garmin Street Pilot c320. Price was really the number one factor in our choice since my Lexus has a GPS as does my Blackberry. We spent about $100 on the Street Pilot - we got a great deal - sort of.
The Garmin StreetPilot has detailed maps throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. There are close to 6 million updated points of interest. It allows turn by turn navigation and it gives you postal code support for Canada.

The Garmin StreetPilot c320 has text and voice-guided directions. There is an SD slot and it comes with a 128MB SD card.

Pros

My husband and I are still together in spite of Gertrude the Garmin Street Pilot c320.

Garmin Street Pilot c320 is easy to read at night

The suction is good. We have not had it fall off the window.

The voice is easy to understand and adjust. We've listed to the English voice and the British voice and found them very clear.

We can touch a button...
...

I bought this TV a few months ago, and have had nothing but great experiences with it.

I have cable TV hooked-up to it along with my HTPC through which I watch Blu-rays, HD-DVD's and Regular DVD's.

My living room gets quite a bit of natural light, and the 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio solves that problem :)

When I purchased this TV, it was $1699.95, down from $2299.99. When I checked today, it's selling for $1499.99 :(

At it's current price, it's an amazing buy for anyone who needs a new HD TV.
...

I am not a big gamer and never have been. My family and I bought this game system a year ago and love it. I like the fact that I can actually play and win the games. The game that comes with it is awesome. It is something my whole family plays together. You are not just sitting there punching buttons on the controller. You are actually up and moving. If you have kids this is a great system to get the kid up off the couch. There are so many games to chose from. You will find something for everyone....

My husband gave me the TomTom Go for a birthday gift this year. I am a Realtor in Wisconsin and many of the homes I have to show are out in the country and sometimes I ge lost and it really makes it hard to stay on schedual. The TomTom Go has really madea difference, it gets me to the property and even tells me when to turn around if I have gone past it. I am amazed everytime I use it, it gives me advance warning of an upcoming turn and I can see curves in the road right on the screen. Once in a while its wrong but still helps me get to the general area. TomTom Go has saved me time and money every time I go on showings. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner. Love it!
...

The Xbox 360 isn't a bad game console for adults for online play. I owned on not to long ago. When I was online I notice all the name calling and profanity used while playing with other gamers. There should be a rating for online play along with the game play. At least a room where our children can play without this in there. I don't mind playing with these people who call names and use such languge but I wouldn't want my child to play with these people. Maybe they should try to make some kind of change so they can at least help parents out on this. I can't be the only parent concerned with this. Can I?...

I am a huge star wars fan so when I saw commercials for Star Wars the Force Unleashed I thought 'Damn I would LOVE to play that game.' Alas at that time I didn't have any gaming system to play it on, after Christmas I was able to use my sister's Nintendo Wii and I gotta tell you this game is addicting ALTHOUGH if you aren't a Jedi master at video games (like myself) you may have some trouble beating the levels, it may take you a lot longer. But you will feel it in your arm and back muscles. Which makes you think you're doing something good for your body...even though I'm sure a walk around the block would be better.

Highly reccommend it.

...

We bought the Kodak Easy Share C533 digital camera in late 2007 to take to the hospital for when we had the baby. At first, it seemed like a great camera, handy, took decent pictures for what we used it for so far.

As soon as the warranty was up, however, for some reason, it started eating batteries like crazy. If we put in fresh batteries, good ones, we can take a few pictures, but then if we turn it off and come back to it a few hours later/the next day, the warning light is flashing, and it'll kill the batteries before you can get off more than a pic or two.

Also, this is not a good camera if you are trying to get quick pics. No matter which setting I have it on, it has a lag time, so when I try and snap my daughter's pic, by the time it actually takes the picture, she's turned her head or has closed her eyes.

Some of the pics are very blurry, which you don't realize until you print them off, and then it's disappointing.

This camera is fine for general pics, and hopefully our battery...
...

I have purcdhased two of the Apple Ipod touch. One for each of my kids. The first was last year and at the time I thought it to be amazing. Now the newest one I have purchased is the new 2nd generation. Same GB. but much more things to do on it. We have downloaded games and so far 2000 songs.\ The big wide screen displays vivid colors and plays videos seamlessly. Enabling you to turn in horizontal or vertical. It definatley is not just for songs.

Connecting to a network is a cinch, it automatically detects and connects in just seconds. You do need to be careful because the wifi detector is a soft spot on the back.

All in all I would give the apple ipod a 9 out of ten.

...

When I got Family Guy the Video Game, I didn't know what to expect. It could have been HILARIOUS, or it could have been super dumb. It actually turned out to be pretty fun with only a few downsides.

There is a plot to the game, but it's not really important and it becomes kind of random. Basically what happens is you encounter various scenes in which you must get to the end by facing various challenges. The game is played scene by scene instead of ungoing... like you have to get to that door and then you move to the next scene. You'll play as Stewie, Brian and Peter at different parts of the game as there are actually 3 storylines going on (just like there would be on TV). Each story is pretty much like a TV show story, except drawn out.

Stewie is trying to control the world through mind control and the TV

Brian is trying to break out of jail after getting Sebreeze pregnant

Peter is off looking for Mr. Belvedere and has to beat a lot of characters up!

Although they have storylines,...
...

I just got the Mio Moov 200 GPS for Christmas. I hooked it up right away and was happy it was so easy to install and begin using. Basically just stick it to the window, plug it in and turn it on, simple. It was a liitle touchy getting the touchscreen to work but I'll get used to it. I may use my daughters Nintendo ds pen on it. It was easy to understand and very acurate on every turn I was impressed. The maps look great and it gives you a few different views which is cool. It also tells you eta and your speed and lets you easily save favs. I thought it was cool it had a girl with a British accent but she is kinda hard to understand. The only complaint I really have is it should have come with a storage case for when you hide it in youyr car or take it along with you in someone else's car. overall very good...

I purchased the Clearplay dvd player in November of 2008. I too have tried many ways to view movies without all the language etc. I thought this sounded like a good idea. After 4 weeks of trying to get the DVD player to work I gave up and returned it to the store. I was never able to get the player to recognize the filters. I have called Clearplay 8 times and only received one call back. Their customer service is terrible. When the DVD player played regular dvd's the picture faded in and out. I think the quality of the player is very low. Save your money! While this may be a good idea they still have some major issues to work out!...

I just want to say that rock band is a fantastic game that you will only have to play once to get hooked. Most of my friends are gamers, but even my girlfriend and her friends that don't play games love rockband. You get the drum set, a guitar, and a mic with the game, and each instrument is a lot of fun to play. You can play with friends, or you can play with the instrument of your choosing and play by yourself. The song list is a lot of fun and fairly diverse, so everyone should find music that they will want to play. It's one of the most interactive games I have ever seen and is a brilliant idea for a game....

per3per3 says "They might be expensive, but they won't dissapoint" about Bose - QuietComfort 2 Consumer Headphones

I purchased the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones a few years ago when I traveled at lot for work, and I have to say that they are well worth the hefty price tag. I hesitated with the purchase, as there are many other decent options out there for much less...but none that sound as good. I used to be on an airplane at least twice a week for work, and these headphones were awesome. The noise cancellation feature is awesome, it cuts the ambient noise on the plane and allows you to concentrate on your music. On top of getting rid of the annoying sounds on the plane, the sound quality of these headphones is fantastic. You will hear new aspects of songs you have listened to many times before...it will amaze you. The leather-wrapped ear cups are very comfortable and allow you to keep them on for hours on end. You can even use the noise cancellation feature without plugging them in, which is a nice feature if you want to go to the library and shut out the ambient noise to concentrate......

Rollinson says "Great TV, Great Price" about Sanyo - 50 inch Flat Panel Television

We got this Sanyo plasma tv a few months ago for a great price and were impressed with the picture - but disappointed that it wasn't as clear as we thought it should be. As soon as we upgraded to HD tv with our satellite provider - it was awesome. It has worked perfectly for us and the picture is crystal clear. I can't imagine a better tv OR a better price (it cost less than the giant projection tv we used to have). My parents have the same tv and they love it just as much. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone.
...

rmc1ra says "We played as a family and everyone enjoyed themselves" about Sony - Buzz Trivia

I received the Buzz Trivia game for the Play Station 3 as a Christmas present and I was pleasantly surprised. My two children both enjoyed the game as did me and my husband. The only problem is that they don't want to stop playing it and we all have gotten a bit competitive. Categories range from Cartoons to Oldies Music, to extreme sports, to science and food. There REALLY is something for everyone. When you have gotten tired of playing each other you can play SOFA to SOFA with other households and you can choose games that other people have created about Star Wars, High School Musical, and even POKEMON. I think this is a KEEPER!...

adria says "The only phone my husband hasn't destroyed yet" about Casio - Gzone Cell Phone

My husband does construction work and every other phone he's had has been trashed in a matter of months. This phone has got to be tough to stand up to being banged and dropped like he does his phones. It has a flash light which is cool. The dust proofness of it is great. He can just bring it home and spray it off without hurting it. It's also resistant to water so that's great when he goes caving. I've actually put this phone in a bucket of water to see if it still works after. The bad things are it doesn't have a memory slot and the camera sucks like none other. You can hardly make out what the pics are of. We're both impressed with this phone....
