After 2 kids, my husband and I decided to get a van. I did not want a van, but we needed it. This van has been great. it is easy to drive and very dependable. I will never buy a Ford product again. The quality has been excellent during these past 3 years. I love the automatic sliding doors too.
The only downside that I have come across is the DVD player. The driver must feed the DVD into the player mounted in back row. Therefore, when I am driving down the interstate and I need to put in another movie, I have to stop the car and feed it into the DVD player and then view...
read full review »When I was younger (pre-children) I said I would never be an M & M - a Mom in a Mini-van. I had to drive bright red sportscars or Jeeps. Well, now I have 2 kids and live in the suburbs. When it was time for a new car, I actually looked at mini-vans. I was about to sign the papers for a Ford, when we went to lunch and saw a Toyota Sienna.
The quality difference was amazing. The basic shape is much better than the boxy Ford, and it drove much smoother. We looked up Consumer Reports, and the Sienna was a hands-down favorite.
Now, I am so glad I have that van. I regularly drive up to 7 kids...
read full review »When it came time to purchase a new vehicle as the family vehicle (4 children), we started out thinking a Suburban was the way to go. We had a Dodge Grand Caravan and thought the SUV was ideal. We rented the SUV and thought it was too big, difficult to maneveur in tighter spaces, and dangerous for kids (I had to catch my 3 year old who almost fell head first trying to get out of the vehicle).
We checked out the Sienna, Town & Country, Venture, and Oddesey. The Sienna was more expensive than most of the others, but the ride was extremely smooth, handling was great, and the interior amenites...
read full review »I used to have a Ford Windstar. This just blows it out of the water. I thought about getting an SUV, but I'm glad I didn't. I don't want to give up the comfort of the van and it gets much better gas mileage.
