I love the capacity it has.

practical, a busy person, road tripper, love to travel, very happy with this product

The GPS worked well out of the box. To get around the problem that seem to be faced by all GPS (portables) visibility in bright sunlight, I choose to use the nighttime screen. Its cool blue , like the cockpit landing devices. It is much easier to see. Also a curved piece of any type of thick paper wrapped around the GPS will also help with the glare. The unit has European maps included and downloaded. I plan to be in Europe in the next months and can not wait to try it there. I would recommend this unit to anyone. If I can do it anyone can. My boss bought a Tom Tom 910 GPS Navigation System to use for meetings at potential clients homes about 18 months ago. I was very intimidated at the thought of trying to figure out how to use it since I do not consider myself computer savvy at all. I would take it along to meetings with a printed map just to make my boss think I was using it. One day I decided to just play with it a bit and prove myself right that it was too complicated to use. Tom Tom GPS has been awesome. The first time I used it was on a trip to Atlanta and would have been stuck in traffic but the Tom Tom has a detour function and it took me around the traffic jam and right to the front door of my destination. I found a game case that fits the Tom Tom and cord perfectly. If you speak more than one language you have the option to choose a language of your choice for the voice or mute it all together. When I go on picture assignments I find it to be as valuable as my camera. Getting there is half the battle. Getting there on time....thanks TOM TOM!

Never get lost again . . .

My TomTom 720 was a welcome addition to my frequent out of state travels. No need to worry about bringing a map or getting lost with MapQuest directions gone bad. It's easy to use, has a large, colorful display and the voices are easy to understand. It was so great that someone decided to steal it from my car. I'll be getting the next generation soon. Only downside is the cost of upgrade the maps - $80. I had it for a little over 2 years and there were 80,000 new roads added.

i like tom tom best beacuse it's so easy to use,yet elegant designs and perfect accurracy in directions everytime,i don't even have to look at it while i'm driving,the darn thing talks!!! i mean,i really like to know that wherever i go,i can go knowing i'm not gonna get lost,and that's a great thing

Great in US, Canada and Europe

I used this traveling in the US, Canada and Europe. All maps were built in. I used it all the way from Paris to Barcelona with many side trips along the way. Worked great in Toronto and Montreal. I also use it to locate points of interest along the way all over the Midwest.

I would be lost without TomTom!

Tom Tom has saved me I dont' know how many time. I use it everyday not so much for direction but because it displays how fast you are going which I love. I also enjoy it when out of town and I'm looking for a new place to shop or eat, the points of interests are great!

Dependable and accurate

Borrowed a friends unit to drive from Wisconsin to Florida. Did not have the manual. We were able to easily program it with the onscreen prompts. Got us to our destination without ANY mishaps.

If you take a side trip, it starts to get very annoyed and wants you back on track. There were a few times that I wanted to shut the thing up.

The TomTom 910 meets the minimum requirements for a GPS device and I still prefer it over most others. But for the money, I expected a little better quality. The unit itself is heavy and seems durable enough, But the windshield mount is too weak to support the unit. It can be attached to the windshield, but after a mile or so the display will "sag" until it is nose down in the dash. Not very helpful if you're trying to use the screen to navigate by. my hubby drives a dump druck for a living... he has to deliver to alot of places. he uses tomtom and it makes his job easy. no need to ask anyone where that is... just put the address into to tomtom and it tells him where to go. one day he forgot his tomtom and his day went by slower, because he had to ask others to tell him how to get there as well as use a map.

so this is good for anyone who is on the road alot or in a new place.!

lol his brother loved my hubbys tomtom so much we got him one for his birthday. he puts in carpet for a living so he needs to go to alot of places as well.

I love my Tom Tom I would be very lost without it going different places. It tells me turn for turn every major highway, helps me control my speed and recently directed me to local emergency help! I love the voice directions so I don't have to take my eyes off the road and I can program it with my own celebrity voices that is really cool!

Tom Tom saved me a lot of time and effort on a recent trip back from Illinois. Getting there took 11 hours. Coming home took 6! It was simple to use, and even told me when I was near a church or school.

Just recently used my Tom Tom for an out of state trip. We were looking for the closest hooters and the tom tom found all hooters in the area - i chose the location i wanted to visit and it told me exactly how many miles away and gave excelent directions!!! I will never leave my local area without it! Very easy to find anything and anywhere you wish to go! Has lots of cool features. Even though the voice can get annoying, you can actually just turn the volume off and you wont have to hear her.
