Love the Lexmark All in One Printer

My children got me the Lexmark all in one printer for my birthday and I just love it. It has beautiful printing capabilities, as well as being able to copy things and is also a fax machine so has really come in handy for a lot of things and I really like how easy it is to use and change sizes and features while using the machine. It has a box which pops up to tell you what action is being performed at that time so you know that you have accomplished what you have set out to do so I really like something that simple to use.

This printer is the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. Considered a "photo" printer, it left horrid lines through everything, even on best quality with glossy photo paper. It also only works when it wants to with Windows Vista Operating Systems... The printer CAME WITH a Windows Vista based Laptop computer, but it has never worked properly with Windows Vista, each time completing the install stating "Vista" as the OS, it only wants to work with my two Windows XP computers. I bought this printer last year, I love the fact that it does everything I need it to do. I can put my memory card in the slot and it downloads my pictures to my computer. It did take me awhile to figure it out, thank goodness I have grandchildren lol. I think the hardest thing on it for me was loading the cartridges, but she did it for me and I have learned how to do it myself, I worry more about breaking something when I am doing it myself. I use this printer almost every day. I am satisfied with the quality of the printing. Although since I have owned it which is three months, there is one complaint I have about it. It has had to be uninstalled a reinstalled three times. Useing the disc that came with it worked for doing this the first time only. After that had to go to the lexmark webite to reinstall it. Why it would not comunicate with my computor I do not know but that is what it said and why I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Aslo I had to unplug the USB and power cord a couple of ttimes to get it to print.

I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a small business or at home business as the all-in-one aspect is priceless. I have recommended this product to others who have at home small business, as well as family members and friends. The price was just right, the size of the printer is perfect and serves all my needs both personally and professionally. The only drawback I have found is it has been difficult at times to find the printer cartridges. Overall this is a very nice piece of office equipment and I would recommend it.

My husband bought this printer after our Dell printer broke (after only 2 years I might add). It works okay but does not print quality photos. It is an incredible price $30 on sale but sometimes you get what you pay for. I will likely have to replace it within a year.

If you are doing just basic printing, it is a great buy. If you want to print photo quality images, this is not the printer to buy.

I love this printer! It is very easy to use, the ink is very easy to find. The only drawback that I have found is that it doesn't print high quality pictures. The scanner and copier are very easy to use. I love being able to have all these at my finger tips instead of having to run out to get copies made. I would recommend this printer. It is very cheap and works great!

My son bought me this for Christmas last year! I love how you have the ability to copy and scan in addition to printing. Thi allows the opportunity to scan old photos and add them to your computer photo albums for better print quality. Gone are the days that you have to outsource your pictures to design photo gifts! It is however difficult to find ink on the shelf for this product.

I had a Lexmark all-in-one before buying this one. The ink replacements are expense at $50 for black & color packs. It is more cost effective to buy a new printer at $29 if all you what to do is print out homework and grocery store coupons as I do. It is best to print photos at a Kodak picture making machine because you'll have to buy photo quality ink for this printer extra.

I have found this printer very simple to use it is excellent for everyday use... i bought this printer for my kids for projects and homework and i must say my 8 yr old find's it east to use and does a great job i would recomment this for k to 12th grade a college student would probably need soemthing more..

Ever since we bought this printer, we have had a great experience with it. It is easy to use for scanning, copying and printing. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It is great being able to scan things, copy things for my husbands college courses, and print anything we need to print.

The Lexmark x1240 is a very reliable all in one printer. I use the printer daily and have never had any problems, even after my two year old stuck toys in the paper feed. I would greatly recommend this printer to anyone who wants a reliable all in one printer.

The Lexmark all in one has worked great for us. I use the printer and copier feature a lot. I have never used the fax or scanner feature, yet. Sometimes I have a hard time getting it to respond when I try to copy.
