I have owned an Apple iBook for four years and I could never go back to a Windows computer. It is easy to use, you do not need to worry about viruses, and has run completely smoothly for me. I had one problem with it and took it to the store, they sent it away - had it back in 36 hours and they even cleaned it and replaced some of the rubber stoppers on the bottom that were worn! Their customer service is amazing and I would highly recommend going Apple if you havn't already. The only thing I recommend is shelling out a bit for a warranty because then you don't have to worry at all and their customer...

I bought an iBook G4 12inch in 2004 just before heading to college. I of course insisted on getting everything added, increased and sped up. I wanted it fast, and I wanted it ASAP. I ordered it in store with my student discount during tax free weekend and saved hundreds of dollars. It came express FedEx next day, and was perfect in every way. I had that computer for a total of just under 5 years, and not once did I have to take it in to the store for repairs. It came with everything I needed, except for Microsoft Office, but that was provided for me, and the installation of it was a breeze....

I've used this computer for four years. Every day. Almost all day. And it still works like a dream. You'll want to throw it against the wall the first few weeks you own it, mainly because you're getting used to the way a Mac thinks. Mind you, a Mac does a lot of the "thinking" for you. Once you get used to it, you'll get more work done faster than you had previously dreamed.

I have a pc for work but in the evenings I love to be able to sit down in my chair and go online with this computer. It's light weight so I can take it anywhere and I haven't had any trouble at all with it in the 4 years I have had it. I didn't care for not having a right click so I just purchased a $14.00 wireless mouse and it works get.
